Between LinkedIn messages, Twitter timelines, Facebook walls and blog feeds, just keeping up with social media can seem like a full-time job for lawyers and legal marketers. Lifehack.org recently asked entrepreneurs how they make sense of social media. Some of their tips include:
- Make sure you’re spending your time engaging with, not consuming, social media.
- Set aside specific times of day when you respond to tweets, post new information or interact with your peers on social media sites.
- Treat your social media replies (blog comments, @ tweets, etc.) the same way you would treat a phone call or email, and make sure you respond in a timely fashion.
- Consistency is key.
- Use mobile apps to keep in touch and on top of things.
